Murder accused dies in Sargodha Jail

SARGODHA: An accused for murder crime, imprisoned in Sargodha District Jail was mysteriously found dead on Saturday morning.

Jail sources said that accused Mumtaz Hussain, a prisoner of murder case in Shahpur Jail Sargodha slept at night and in morning was found death when tried to awake him.

Some sources claimed that the death was outcome of torture or poisoning but the jail staff insisted it was natural death. The district and session judge taking the notice of mysterious death of prisoner has directed for judicial inquiry into the incident.
