Afghanaid delegation talking with HRCP Council members and staff to understand HRCP’s work for the protection of women rights in Pakistan.

Islamabad: A 20-strong Afghanaid delegation visited the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan’s Islamabad office on December 6, 2017 and met with HRCP Council members and staff to understand HRCP’s working and advancements in the protection of human rights with special reference to women’s rights and learn about best practices in the area.  

Afghanaid is a British humanitarian and development organization. For over thirty years, it has been supporting millions of deprived, excluded and vulnerable families in some of the poorest and most remote communities in Afghanistan. It rebuilds basic services, improve livelihoods, strengthen the rights of women and children, and respond to natural disasters. 

The Afghanaid delegation was very inspired by the work of HRCP and they thanked HRCP for sharing its experiences.
