Barbaric attack on Army Public School in Peshawar: NCJP

National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP), Human Rights body of the Catholic Church strongly condemns the tragic and barbaric attack by terrorists on Army Public School, in cantonment area of Peshawar. We grieve and stand with the families of the children of the affected and killed in this cowardly etc.

National Director, Fr. Emmanuel Yousaf Mani and Executive Director Cecil Shane Chaudhry said in a joint statement that the terrorists have killed over 140 innocent children, teachers and staff in one of the most horrific and inhuman ways. We are running out if the demand for human rights and now plead to the governments, all political parties, religious leaders, civil society organizations and Judiciary to set aside all their personal and political differences and join hands to end this menace of terrorism collectively. The government both federal and provincial along with the intelligence agencies should take serious and effective measures to prevent such an atrocity and also demanded to increase security and ensure safety of all children and citizens of Pakistan.
